The earthquake with a magnitude of 6.9 caused the surface to rupture about 22 kilometers, with the highest intensity of IX degree (9 degrees), and the area of ​​VI degree (6 degrees) and above is about 23,417 square kilometers, of which the area of ​​VI degree (6 degrees) and above in Qinghai Province is about 23,417 square kilometers. 13,723 square kilometers, and the area of ​​grade VI (degree 6) and above in Gansu Province is about 9,694 square kilometers. The earthquake involved 32 townships in 6 districts and counties in 3 cities and prefectures in Qinghai Province, and 29 in 6 districts and counties in 3 cities in Gansu Province.
