An airport employee saves an American baby from certain death (video)

A US Transportation Security Administration employee has won admiration for rescuing an infant from certain death at Newark Liberty International Airport;

After his mother discovers that her son is not breathing, she jumps over the baggage belt and performs a maneuver in which she saves the life of the infant.

And the website "Sabq" quoted "Euro News", that the surveillance cameras showed Cecilia Morales, jumping over the baggage transfer belt at the checkpoint;

She tries to save the two-month-old baby, who suddenly stops breathing.

In a press release, the Transportation Security Administration said: The mother realized that the infant was unresponsive when she picked him up from his own chair to pass him through the security gate at Newark Liberty International Airport.

The very nervous mother called for help, and Morales soon realized that a decision had to be made;

She quickly jumped over the conveyor belt and grabbed and massaged the baby while holding him, keeping the airway open while patting his back twice until he recovered.

Later, the child was given oxygen by the pediatric emergency medical team, who came to the airport shortly afterwards and confirmed that the child was in good health.

Cecilia Morales joined the US Transportation Security Administration in October;

She has previously conducted emergency medical training on adults and children, but never done medical training on infants.
