(Fighting against New Coronary Pneumonia) The mountain guard at the 300-meter-altitude war epidemic in Ningbo, Zhejiang: climbs the mountain for an hour and blows for a whole day

China News Service, Ningbo, December 11 (Lin Bo, Feng, Luoxin, Yang Yun) The night on the mountain was particularly quiet. At the Sanjieting epidemic prevention and control duty point at the junction of Zhenhai District, Jiangbei District, and Cixi City, Ningbo City, Zhejiang Province, The four "mountain guards" in epidemic prevention suits joked during the break to resist the ubiquitous cold and the sense of loneliness brought about by being away from the crowd.

They are the civilian police and auxiliary police from the Longshan Police Station of the Cixi Public Security Bureau.

At 2 o'clock on December 7, Ningbo initiated Level I emergency response and temporarily implemented closed management of Zhenhai District.

In the face of this wave of epidemics, public security departments in all parts of Ningbo took immediate action to strictly guard the epidemic prevention checkpoints and help prevention and control work.

The importance of the Sanjieting epidemic prevention and control duty station connecting Zhenhai, Jiangbei and Cixi has also been highlighted.

Policeman Kong Zhousheng from the Longshan Police Station in Cixi and seven other colleagues went to this duty point in two shifts for a 24-hour garrison.

Every day, carrying dozens of kilograms of tents and supplies, they climbed up the mountain from the fitness trail in Fangjiahetou Village, Cixi, to the Sanjie Pavilion in Taohualing, about 300 meters above sea level, for "shifting".

"Our job is to check the epidemic situation for every climber who wants to cross the Sanjie Pavilion, take his temperature and ask where he is coming and going, and then publicize the epidemic-related policies." Kong Zhousheng said that although the work is not complicated, it is helpless to "office." The environment is too bad, even eating has become a problem.

Climbing the mountain with sweat for an hour, and a cold wind all day, this is a true portrayal of the "mountain guard".

At around 13:00 every day, the hungry team members on duty will sit around the stone table in front of the Sanjie Pavilion and wait for a meal.

Lunch is instant noodles, but boiling water in the mountains is a “scarce resource”.

"I brought a cup with a thermos cup when I went up the mountain in the morning. At noon, the temperature was not enough, and the noodles were a little too cold. The mountain breeze made it cooler faster." Xu Bin, the assistant police officer on duty, said that although the noodles were cold, their hearts It was all hot. "In one morning, I persuaded more than 20 climbers to return, and firmly guarded the epidemic prevention'mountain pass.'"

In addition to the problem of eating, the more difficult thing is the night. There is no electricity in the mountains, and the deeper the night, the colder. The "mountain guards" have cold feet and runny noses every day.

In order to keep out the cold, the team members on duty usually roar twice to "scare" the small animals in the mountains, or breathe to warm up and refresh themselves.

"In the early morning hours are the hardest, the weather is the coldest, and people are the most fatigued. This kind of experience is certainly not experienced by ordinary people." Said auxiliary police officer Wang Lei.

Standing at the duty point and looking at the scenery below the mountain, the "mountain guards" looked forward to the future with optimism.

In fact, this is their self-comfort.

Kong Zhousheng’s wife has just been pregnant for four months. He originally had to accompany her for a maternity checkup on December 7th. The assistant policeman Xiao Shen has not returned home for a long time and often talks about his wife and the newly born twins...

"It's not easy for everyone. We will keep this barrier as always, hoping to make the epidemic prevention and control more solid. The epidemic will also end soon, and this beautiful fitness trail can return to the past lively." Kong Zhousheng said.
