The students of the Pierre Beghin high school in Moirans (Isère) rallied massively this Thursday afternoon to defend one of their comrades, expelled from the establishment, reports France 3.
The girl in question was permanently excluded Tuesday, after a disciplinary council.
She was summoned to have denounced the behavior of a PE teacher who "slapped the buttocks" of another student, during a warm-up.
Evoking the facts in a "story", the teenager had then qualified the teacher of "big pedophile" and had asked others to testify.

"She collected 26 testimonies" relates her brother on social networks.
“The teacher in question is already the target of three complaints to the establishment's CPE,” the high school union UNL said in a statement.
We observe that the administration of the school places more importance in the words of a teacher accused of sexual assault multiple times than in that of more than twenty victims and witnesses ”.
In a letter addressed to high school students and their entourage, the management deplores these “rumors questioning in a public and personal manner the moral and personal integrity” of the teacher.
The rectorate's office announced that it wanted to "initiate support and clarification work", according to France 3, adding however that an internal investigation had been opened and that "the competent authorities were informed".
