Prior to this, the Pfizer vaccine to be used was approved on the 11th, and a total of 4.12 million doses will be delivered to local governments and medical institutions nationwide over a period of 15 days to 2 weeks.



Vaccines are distributed to prefectures according to the number of people who have completed two vaccinations by the end of May. Tokyo has 418,000 times, Kanagawa prefecture has 228,000 times, and Osaka prefecture has 219,000 times. It is a remainder.



In addition, since some countries overseas allow the combination of Moderna and Pfizer vaccines, the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare will examine the efficacy and safety of the vaccine in a subcommittee made up of experts on the 15th, and the second time. It is also a policy to allow people who have been vaccinated with Moderna to switch to Pfizer for the third time.



Regarding occupational vaccinations conducted at companies and universities, the policy is to start the third vaccination by March next year, and it will be decided whether or not to approve the modelna vaccine to be used by the end of this year.
