The Egyptian businessman, Naguib Sawiris, raised the controversy greatly in Egypt by talking about his personal expenses while out for dinner or staying up late.

Naguib Sawiris said in an interview with the correspondent of the “Sabahak Masri” program on the “mbc Egypt 2” satellite channel: “I don’t spend much a day, because I have lunch with my mother and breakfast at my mother, and if I go out at dinner to pay 3000 or 4000 pounds, now the numbers are struck at all, We used to go out at the exit with 100 pounds, 50 pounds, and 30 pounds, and now the zeros are cut.”

And about the first expenses he received in his life at school, he said: “My father gave me 2 pounds a month, and everyone with me in the class took 10 pounds, but he had 2 pounds in our hands to teach us to stay dry, and it came out right, but my children do not remember the truth. And my wife was the one who was giving them the money, and her hands were drier than me because I was their frankness.”

Sawiris said that he does not befriend businessmen "because I love the people of art, poetry, literature and writers...I feel that I belong to them, while the business community, most of them are bloodless, and full of jealousy," according to the man who recently reduced his working hours to 4 or 6 hours a day. Because I was crazy, I work from 7 am to 12 pm, I am not looking for money now or new projects, I am only trying to spend time with my family and my children.

He also pointed to his obsession with the "Mickey" magazine characters that he read as a child, which prompts him to buy any clothes with pictures of these characters printed on them, commenting: "It makes me feel as small as my heart from the air."
