The management of the Bologna International Book Fair announced the selection of the Sharjah International Book Fair, among four major international fairs, to be a center for dialogue of Italian culture with the world in the continent of Asia and North Africa, and revealed that the selection came due to what the fair represents at the international level of a great project with its experience. Al Ameri stressed that the selection of the Sharjah International Book Fair among four international book fairs, to be the gateway to Italian culture dialogue with the world, is the result of the directives and support of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, and comes as a continuation of Italy’s celebration of the Sharjah cultural project.
