  From 7:00 on the 18th to 7:00 on the 19th, heavy rain fell in Ankang City, and heavy rains occurred in individual towns in the south. The periods of heavy rainfall were mainly concentrated from the night of the 18th to the early morning of the 19th.

According to statistics, from 7:00 on the 18th to 7:00 on the 19th, precipitation occurred in a total of 205 weather monitoring stations in the city.

  Affected by heavy rainfall, 92 township offices in 10 counties (cities, districts) of Ankang City experienced floods to varying degrees, damaged crops such as corn, flue-cured tobacco, and rice, and damaged infrastructure such as water supply, roads, river banks, and agriculture.

There were no casualties.

  As of 11:30 on the 19th, the floods caused 82,355 people to be affected, 16,438 people were evacuated to avoid danger, and 25,690 people were relocated.

There were 440 hectares of crops affected, 269 hectares of disasters, and 150 hectares of non-harvest crops; 210 houses in 60 households were collapsed, 150 houses in 60 households were seriously damaged, and 359 houses in 158 households were generally damaged; the direct economic loss was 190 million yuan.

  In response to this rainfall process, Ankang City attached great importance to the city's flood prevention and anti-skid video scheduling meeting for arrangement and deployment.

All county and district departments and town offices organize transfers and emergency rescue in advance.

  After the disaster occurred, the Ankang Emergency Management Bureau sent two working groups to Zhenping and Ziyang respectively to guide rescue and disaster relief and disaster investigation and verification work.

At present, the city’s 176 centralized resettlement sites have resettled 7,539 people affected by the disaster, and 18,151 people have been resettled in scattered locations.
