Kumamoto Prefecture and Kumamoto City announced on the 6th that it was confirmed that 83 new people were infected with the new coronavirus.
The number of newly infected people in the prefecture will be double digits for the second consecutive day following the fifth.
This brings the total number of infected people in the prefecture to 13,317.
