Nara Prefecture and Nara City announced on the 23rd that it was confirmed that 147 new people were infected with the new coronavirus in the prefecture.
This brings the total number of people confirmed to be infected in the prefecture to 11,564.
Nara City also announced that a man in his 70s who lives in the city has died.
