This will allow the coral transplant work to resume.

Regarding the relocation work of Futenma base to Henoko, Nago city, Okinawa prefecture allowed the Okinawa Defense Bureau to transplant coral in the sea area to be reclaimed, but the prefecture said that it did not comply with the conditions when the transplant was permitted. On the 30th of last month, the permit was withdrawn and work was suspended.



In response to this, the Defense Bureau has filed a request for examination from the Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries to cancel the withdrawal and a suspension of execution of the withdrawal.



On the 5th, the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries decided to suspend the effect of the withdrawal until the claim was decided.



This will allow the porting process to resume.
