A man was seriously injured by the shooting of a police officer during a road check in Marseille on Wednesday evening, we learned from the police headquarters and emergency services.
The man was in cardio-respiratory arrest when the marine firefighters arrived, said the latter.
A policeman was also injured, said the police headquarters, which was not able to give the importance of these injuries, nor to say if it was the official who fired.
The facts occurred in the 3rd arrondissement of Marseille, in the district of La-Belle-de-Mai.
