According to the newspaper "Vzglyad", 12% of respondents believe that the supporters of body positivity are in favor of the idea of ​​accepting the appearance of their own body with all its shortcomings.

In addition, 5% believe that body positivity stands for a healthy body and a healthy lifestyle, and 3% believed that it is against discrimination in appearance.

8% of respondents could not answer the question exactly.

61% of respondents rather agree that body positivity relieves people of complexes associated with the peculiarities of their appearance, 15% believe that it forms such complexes.

Two-thirds of the respondents (69%) believe that body positivity fosters a tolerant attitude of society towards the physical characteristics of people, 11% are convinced that it enhances a negative attitude towards people with physical disabilities (15-16% among young people).

Almost half of Russians (49%) believe that body positivity contributes to a healthy lifestyle.

A quarter of the respondents (25%) believe that it allows them to ignore a healthy lifestyle (47%).

Earlier, the VTsIOM poll showed that 38% of Russians do not drink alcohol at all, and every fourth respondent drinks alcohol less than once a month.
