Directive to stop “loud” musical activities in Makkah restaurants and cafes

Sources revealed that directives were issued to stop musical and lyrical activities within commercial complexes, malls, restaurants and cafes in Makkah Al-Mukarramah.

The sources pointed out to the Saudi "Urgent" website, that there are a number of cafes that raise the sounds of music remarkably, and most of the visitors are from the categories of young men and girls, in addition to that some of them have not reached the legal age of 18 years.

The sources confirmed that directives were issued to stop these musical and lyrical activities and to warn the owners of these establishments not to conduct any musical or lyrical activity within commercial complexes, malls, restaurants and cafes, warning that whoever violates this will be subject to punishment.
