Regarding the cancellation of the reservation for use once accepted by the facility in Osaka, which was the venue for the exhibition with the theme of "free expression," the Osaka District Court decided that the executive committee of the exhibition would use the facility. I made a decision to admit.

The court points out that the exhibition "should be guaranteed as part of the constitutionally guaranteed freedom of expression."

The executive committee of volunteers from the Kansai region will hold an exhibition of works that were temporarily canceled at the adult "Aichi Triennale" for three days from the 16th of this month under the title of "Expression Inconvenience Exhibition Kansai". I planned to reserve the venue "El Osaka" at the Osaka Prefectural Labor Center in Chuo-ku, Osaka.

However, due to a series of protests, the designated manager of this facility, which was created by the Osaka Labor Association, canceled the reservation for use once it was accepted as "it is difficult to ensure the safety of facility users."

In response, the executive committee filed a lawsuit with the Osaka District Court at the end of last month saying that "there is no danger that the confusion cannot be prevented" and requested the suspension of execution to invalidate the reservation cancellation. It was.

On the 9th, Judge Mori Kiichi of the Osaka District Court approved the petition of the executive committee and decided to make the facility available.

Among them, regarding the exhibition, "It should be guaranteed to be held as part of the freedom of expression guaranteed by the Constitution. Even with proper police security, there are no special circumstances that cannot prevent confusion." I point out.

On the other hand, the facility will immediately appeal the decision to the Osaka High Court.
