Marijuana is a reward for anyone who receives a Corona virus vaccine in Washington

Adults in Washington state can get a free marijuana roll starting this week, when they go to get vaccinated against the coronavirus.

The Washington State Board of Liquor and Cannabis has announced that the roll-for-dose promotion is effective immediately and will run through July 12, ABC News reported.

During the specified time period, state-licensed cannabis dealers are allowed to give one cigarette stuffed with marijuana to customers age 21 and older when they receive their first or second dose of the COVID-19 vaccine at active vaccination sites.

The council said it had received several requests from retail cannabis licensors to participate in promotional campaigns to support government vaccination efforts.

The council recently allowed beer, wine or cocktails to be offered at no cost to those 21 years of age or older who have been vaccinated by June 30.
