Xinhua News Agency, Shenyang, May 28 (Reporter Gao Shuang) A steel fishing boat "Liao Dan Yu 23937" turned over on the 25th near the Liaoning waters in the northern part of my country's Yellow Sea.

The reporter learned from the relevant departments of Donggang City, Dandong City, Liaoning Province on the 28th that as of now, no missing persons have been found on the sea surface, and underwater search and rescue and shipwreck towing work are also underway.

After the accident, the Donggang Municipal Government and Dandong Maritime Safety Administration organized social search and rescue forces and professional search and rescue teams to successively dispatch law enforcement boats, rescue boats, search and rescue helicopters, and fishing boats to continuously carry out search and rescue work. The ship has completed partial tying and exploration.

Under the premise of ensuring the safety of search and rescue personnel, relevant departments have overcome complex sea conditions and the influence of tides, and raced against time to carry out search, rescue and salvage work.

At present, no missing persons have been found on the sea surface; at the same time, due to the strong wind in the sea area where the incident occurred, the surge and turbidity of the underwater sediment were low, and the underwater search and rescue and the towing of the sunken ship were seriously hindered.

It is reported that the overturned fishing boat is a shellfish production ship approved by the Donggang City Fisheries Department. The procedures are complete, and in accordance with the relevant management regulations during the summer fishing period, the authorization for the production of artificially increased shellfish in the sea area has been confirmed.

After checking the operation track of Beidou, the fishing vessel's production operation and incident location were both within the approved operation area.
