Nara Prefecture and Nara City announced on the 7th that it was confirmed that 98 new people were infected with the new coronavirus in the prefecture.
It also announced that a total of four men and women in their 60s and 90s, who had been confirmed infected, had died.
A total of 6636 people were confirmed infected in Nara Prefecture, and 86 people died.
