On the morning of April 27, a memorial service for the martyrs Feng Chenmin and Tang Weijia was held in the lobby of Shanghai Longhua Funeral Home.
In the eulogy, the relevant person in charge of the Shanghai Fire Rescue Corps recalled the advanced deeds of Feng Chenmin and Tang Weijia since they were engaged in firefighting work and the heroic deeds in the "4.22" fire fighting process, learning to carry forward their fighting spirit of fighting through fire and water and not afraid of sacrifice. Promote their value pursuit of the people's supremacy and dedication to the people.
On April 22, a fire broke out in Shengrui Electronic Technology Co., Ltd. in Jinshan District, Shanghai.
Feng Chenmin, deputy head of Jinwei Fire Station of Jinshan Fire Rescue Detachment of Shanghai Fire Rescue Corps, and Tang Weijia, deputy head of Zhangyan Fire Station, died while searching and rescuing trapped people.
Feng Chenmin was only 32 years old when he died, and Tang Weijia was only 25 years old when he died.
The Emergency Management Department and the Shanghai Municipal People's Government respectively assessed Feng Chenmin and Tang Weijia who were sacrificed in the "4.22" Shengrui Electronic Technology Co., Ltd. fire fighting and rescue operation as martyrs.
