Toyama Prefecture announced that it was the first person in the prefecture to be infected with a mutated coronavirus.

Infection with the mutant virus was confirmed in a total of two men and women in their 50s living in Toyama Prefecture, both of whom developed in the middle of this month and have traveled abroad, but have not been in contact with an unspecified number of people. It means that there is no such thing.

This is the first time that infection with a mutant virus has been confirmed in Toyama Prefecture, and the prefecture has decided to send two samples to the National Institute of Infectious Diseases for further examination.
