Xiaoyu, a 1-year-old and 1-month-old boy from Liuzhou City, Guangxi, visited the world briefly and bid farewell to the world on the 18th.

Before leaving, he left a pair of corneas, and the two patients benefited and continued to look at the world with Xiaohan's eyes.

The little angel comes but has a bad fate

In February 2020, Xiaoyu came to the world in the expectation of his family.

But fate made a joke at this time: When Xiao Yu was born, his physical function indicators were unqualified, and he was discharged from the hospital after being treated for half a month.

Soon after, Kohane was diagnosed with a mitochondrial disease.

"In the beginning we didn't understand this disease, but later we learned that it was an'incurable disease'." Xiaoyu's mother was like a bolt from the blue.

It is reported that children with congenital mitochondrial diseases generally live for about 2 years.

The couple did not give up, and took Xiaoyu to seek medical treatment.

Xiaoyu's mother said: "We thought that even if we could accompany him until he was two years old."

On March 16, Xiaoyu, who had just turned one year old, suddenly had a high fever.

Later, Xiaoyu came to Liuzhou Workers' Hospital for treatment.

During this period, his condition deteriorated rapidly and he could not breathe spontaneously, so he could only rely on a ventilator to maintain his life.

Before leaving, the father held his little hand tightly

At the end of life, do you want to rescue it?

At this time, Xiaoyu's parents were faced with a difficult choice and inner struggle.

Xiaohan’s mother said: “I have discussed it with my husband before and felt that there is no point in keeping life on a ventilator. I hope he will leave comfortably, so we decided to give up the rescue and contact for organ donation.”

Later, Xiaoyu's parents offered to donate organs free of charge.

At noon on the 18th, Xiaoyu's father said his final farewell to Xiaoyu in the ward of Liuzhou Workers' Hospital.

On the hospital bed, Kohane fell asleep peacefully, her long eyelashes covering her eyelids.

Dad held Xiaoyu's little hand tightly, eyes filled with tears, looked at the baby reluctantly, and sent him the last journey.

After the preparations were completed, the medical staff on the scene held a collective silent ceremony for Xiao Yu, and then proceeded with the operations in an intense and orderly manner.

Rescue 2 people and see the world in another way

Li Rongjie, Xiaohan’s attending doctor, said that many people do not understand organ donation due to the influence of secular concepts. Parents who can donate their children’s organs are amazing.

After evaluation, Xiaoyu donated a pair of corneas, which can help two patients with eye diseases see the light again.

As for organ donation, Xiao Yu's parents did not have a whim.

"We often see news about organ donation in the media and patient groups. We think this is a kind deed worth promoting." Dad Xiaoyu said.

Mother Xiao Yu said: "The baby is very precious. I hope that the valuable part of his body can help others. I also want to be selfish to keep part of his body in this world, which is also a kind of comfort and comfort for our family members. Pin it."

Thank the angel for being here

In the next life, I hope you will be a healthy and happy child
