In "The lovers of Hérouville, a true story", Yann Le Quellec and Romain Ronzeau tell in comics the incredible story of the music studios founded by Michel Magne.

The whole French and international rock scene marched in this place where the sense of celebration was excessive.

Publicity

The Château d'Hérouville, a former 18th century coaching inn, located in Vexin, north-west of Paris.

It has hosted in the countryside the biggest names of the rock scene of the 70s. Grateful Dead, Elton John, Pink Floyd, Magma, the Bee Gees, Cat Stevens, but also the Hallyday, Mitchell, Higelin and other Nougaro or Polnareff: all and many others feasted, sang, albums were recorded in the latest studios installed by a man: Michel Magne, director of recording studios, composer, arranger, but also visual artist.

A visionary all in excess, a pleasure-seeker driven by an ambition and an extraordinary passion.

An artist, but not a manager, whose dream turned into a nightmare.

This creative epic, it is told to us in an abundant and flamboyant album as colorful as the character.
