The new genius of comics: "I do the complete opposite of Marvel" Martin Panchaud won the Fauve d'Or at the Festival de Angoulême and the Grand Prix de la Critique ACBD. He presents his story with a minimalist graphic style that dispenses with traditional vignette sequencing, but even turns the characters into geometric figures.
"For the reader, I think that by seeing the face or body of the characters it is more intimate," he says.
