Andrey Myagkov was born on July 8, 1938 in Leningrad.

His father was a teacher, had a Ph.D. in technical sciences.

The mother of the future artist worked as a mechanical engineer.

At first, Myagkov was also involved in science.

He studied at the Leningrad Chemical-Technological Institute, after which he worked in a research organization.
