What is your background in music?
I've been trying to be professional in music since I was 17.
I write a lot of songs.
In recent years, and especially since
The Voice
, I have made a concrete living from my music.
I managed to turn my passion into a career.
So I'm the happiest man on earth right now.
How would your song “I'll take you dance” be perfect for Eurovision?
I was presented with this song written by Ben Mazué.
I thought it had a lot of potential and would be perfect for Eurovision, especially if we reworked the production a bit.
I always say my blood is Scottish and my heart is French, so it was important for me to add bagpipes and bring these two cultures together.
Above all, it's a love song, which makes me want to dance and smile.
Eurovision is a competition that brings so much joy to so many people, so I will take you dancing is perfect: it gives you the excitement, especially after the year we have just passed.
For three minutes, she allows her to escape.
Among the twelve songs competing at Eurovision France, there are some which are magnificent, incredible, which make you want to dance, to cry.
But with Eurovision in mind, I think
I will take you dancing
is the one that deserves to go the most.
I hope France will agree with me (

).
What will your performance in "Eurovision France" look like?
I'm not much of a dancer, but I take a lot of dance lessons.
Right now, it's nonstop, it makes me do my sport, it's cool.
The staging is going to be very nice.
I don't think I have the right to say what it consists of, but we work on it a lot.
It will be spectacular.
If I tell you Eurovision, which artist or which song do you spontaneously think of?
Celine Dion (

).
My favorite performance is… Oh my, I forgot it.
He was a German, redhead with curly hair, he had written a song for his father.
Michael Schulte with “You Let Me Walk Alone” in 2018?
That's it !
I find this song phenomenal, incredible.
She made me cry.
Beyond your participation in "Eurovision France", do you have other projects?
We're working on an album.
We have a big project behind it.
I've been writing for other artists for over ten years, which I love.
I have songs waiting in my Dropbox ...
