The accident site was full of rescue, emergency, power generation, communications, etc. Vehicles, rescue forces composed of more than 320 people and various mechanical equipment are racing against time to rescue workers who have lost contact due to the gold mine explosion. The rescue scene is tense and orderly.

  At 2 pm on January 10, an explosion occurred at the Hushan Gold Mine in Qixia City, Shandong Wucailong Investment Co., Ltd. The shock wave damaged the ladders of the well and the cage could not operate normally.

As of press time, 22 workers were trapped underground and have not yet been contacted.

At present, the wellbore drill pipe has reached 396 meters, and the firefighters have transported the sound detection system to 370 meters downhole.

  The reporter learned from the press conference held by the rescue headquarters of the accident that the drill pipe in the wellbore has reached 396 meters, and forced ventilation is being adopted to transport air down the well and to remove harmful gases and smoke. The hanging cage has been welded and completed. After the installation is complete, the professionals are going down the well by the hoisting cage, clearing the wellbore, and rescue the trapped people underground.

Firefighters have transported the sound detection system to 370 meters underground.

  It is reported that because the toxic gas near the middle section of the explosion in the wellbore cannot be completely eliminated in a short time, and the wellbore equipment is damaged in many places, the cage and rescue personnel have not yet reached the working surface where the trapped personnel are located.

For obstacles in the wellbore, the rescuers will gradually reach the well to rescue the trapped persons.

  On the morning of the 12th, Liu Jiayi, secretary of the Shandong Provincial Party Committee, used underground communication equipment to call out the trapped workers, but no one responded.

  At present, the rescue site has mobilized more than 320 rescue teams and more than 70 sets of various machinery and equipment.
