Hakodate City, Hokkaido, announced that it has been confirmed that two new residents of the city are infected with the new coronavirus.
Two people were confirmed to be infected, an unemployed woman in her 80s and one whose age, gender, and occupation were not disclosed.
Symptoms are moderate and mild, and the patient is admitted to a designated medical institution or an accommodation facility.
The total number of infected people in Hokkaido is 13,687.
