Unauthorized access at Hokkaido University leaked personal information of over 22,000 people. No misuse of personal information has been confirmed so far.
University has set up a telephone and email consultation desk and is urging students, faculty and staff to contact them if they see anything suspicious. Hokkado University commented, ``We deeply apologize for the inconvenience and concern.We will strengthen our efforts for information security.'' It was announced on the 1st. of January.
