In order to eliminate waiting-list children waiting for the nursery school to become available, the government has put together a plan to secure a new saucer for about 140,000 people in the next four years.

To realize this, we will need more than 140 billion yen in financial resources, and we plan to raise it by reviewing the targets of corporate contributions and special benefits for children's allowances.

The government is planning to reduce the number of waiting children to zero by the end of this year, but it is difficult to achieve this because the preparation of childcare trays cannot keep up with the increasing demand for childcare due to the rising employment rate of women.

Therefore, in the four years until the end of Reiwa 6, we have put together a plan to prepare a new saucer for about 140,000 people, and the Cabinet decided on the 21st.

In the plan,

in addition to the development of

nursery schools, in order to deal with the shortage of nursery teachers, the system that requires one full-time nursery teacher to be assigned to each class will be revised, and it is necessary to combine two nursery teachers who work shorter hours. I admit it with.

In addition, in

order to promote the utilization of babysitters, we will expand the subsidy system and exempt subsidies received by parents from the national and local governments from taxation.

On the other hand, maintenance of the saucer requires financial resources of 144 billion yen as operating expenses, of which 100 billion yen will be covered by corporate contributions.

The remaining financial resources will be generated by reviewing the special benefits of children's allowance and excluding households with an annual income of 12 million yen or more for either couple from October 4th year of Reiwa, and the government will generate it as soon as possible. I want to eliminate waiting-list children.
