Observing and understanding the needs of children in order to offer them the best toys is the mission that the OPPI brand has set for itself.

Created by two brothers, it offers children the opportunity to have fun far from virtual worlds.

Publicity

“We really want to continue in this dynamic: that of a game that adapts to the child, it is not the child who will adapt to the game;

a free game, educational but at the same time very sensible ”

, explains Hansel Schoulpt, co-founder of

the toy brand OPPI

.

We created this name to bring together two concepts: the concept of “hope” therefore “hope” and “happy”, “happiness” therefore “being happy”.

Our toys are both at the same time, which means they can touch everyone.

These are toys that will bring skills but also a lot of fun to play.

For the record, “oppia” or “oppi” in Finnish also means “know-how”, “learning”, “education”.

So for us, it made total sense to adopt this brand name.

OPPI is a family story, the story of two brothers Hansel and Bastien Schoulpt.

Hansel had to face an orphan disease at a very young age.

While receiving treatment in Barcelona, he studied design.

Imagination and capacities

In 2018, inspired by his personal experience, Hansel Schoulpt created with his brother a toy brand based on childhood themes to

develop skills

.

Their latest game Piks won several awards including the 2020 toy.

Piks - creative game for the development of children's attention and concentration - OPPI Siana Remember

“For Piks, we made a toy that develops children's concentration and dexterity.

There has been a lot of interest in attention disorders, ADHD.

I have a background as a designer and in my career, I have always been interested in toys, or products, which bring a little more and which are really alive, in the hands of children.

Because toys were also important when I was young, ”

says Hansel Schoulpt.

“Piks, our first product, was this idea of a toy that can also bring concentration, bring skills through play. And with my brother, who was more in his development, the whole brand environment came and today, the goal is to develop the brand in this direction ”

, adds the co-founder of OPPI.

Games, learning and joy

The

two co-founders of OPPI

want to participate in the education of children.

Far from games on screens, they are betting on remodernizing traditional games.

“When we put this game in the hands of children, they can spend hours.

How many times have we seen parents who told us:

"But you will see, it will not last more than 10 min, 5 min"

and finally, there was half an hour or an hour and we were discussing "

, testifies the designate.

“These moments are also magical for us.

When you are a creator or designer, when we think of a product, launch an idea, and that ultimately it translates into the hands of the children and that the transmission is there, I think that it is the best success ”

 concludes Hansel Schoulpt .
