Fukuoka Prefecture announced on the 8th that it was confirmed that 85 people in the prefecture were infected with the new coronavirus.
The number of infected people per day has exceeded 80 since August 21st.
The breakdown is 47 in Kitakyushu and 24 in Fukuoka.
The number of confirmed infections in 47 people in Kitakyushu is the highest ever.
A total of 6210 people have been confirmed to be infected in Fukuoka Prefecture.
