As with so much else, it will be a different Nobel Week this year.

Due to the corona pandemic, the prize winners are celebrated in their respective home countries and speeches and ceremonies are designed so that as many people as possible can take part online.

This also applies to the musical elements.

The concert with pianist Igor Levit is broadcast live for the first time worldwide.

The ceremony in the Golden Hall in Stockholm City Hall on December 10 is framed by soloists Magnus Lindgren, Edda Magnason, Elisabeth Meyer, Anna Greta Sigurdardottir, Amalie Stalheim and Sofie Sunnerstam.

“We have a fantastic breadth and power in our seven participating artists and musicians.

We will perform music that spans between Mozart, Debussy, Kurt Weill and David Bowie, to specially composed music by Magnus Lindgren ", says Linus Fellbom, director and responsible for the program, in a press release.

The broadcast from the Golden Hall is broadcast on SVT and globally via the Nobel Prize's official channels.
