World Theater Day celebration will be held in Langfang, China, from March 27 to 29. The speaker of World Theater Day 2024 will be Norwegian dramatist and novelist, and winner of last year’s Nobel Prize for Literature, Jorn Fosse.
Since 1962, grand celebrations have been held around the world on March 27 every year. This year, the World Theatre Day celebrations returned to China after seven years and landed at Menglangfang International Theater Park. During the 2024 World Theater day celebrations, Chinese and foreign theater troupes and art troupers will bring a variety of performances.
