After Freddie Mercury in

, Elton John in

Rocketman

, it's David Bowie's turn to have his biopic.

IFC Films unveiled this Wednesday the trailer for Stardust, the biopic dedicated to the British icon.

This film, produced by Paul Van Carter, directed by Gabriel Range (I Am Slave) and written by Christopher Bell (The Last Czars), focuses on the early days of the pop icon's career.

The plot focuses in particular on the transformation of David Bowie into Ziggy Stardust in the early 1970s.

This somewhat sad trailer is not unanimous on social networks, some find no resemblance between the icon in the city and the transformation of Johnny Flynn, others recall that the artist's son , director Duncan Jones, made it clear on Twitter that this film was being made without the family's consent and that the production would not obtain the rights to use its music.

The film will be released on November 25 in the United States on VOD, no release date in France, which has just closed theaters for at least a month.
