Xinhua News Agency, Beijing, October 17 (Reporter Wei Mengjia) The autumn scenery is pleasant, and the major parks and scenic spots in Beijing welcome a large number of tourists.

While enjoying the autumn scenery, it is essential to jointly maintain a civilized and orderly tourism environment.

The reporter learned from the Yanqing District of Beijing on the 16th that a 17-year-old tourist, Yang Mou, recently visited the Badaling Great Wall scenic spot and engraved on a Great Wall brick, causing damage to the brick.

According to the "Public Security Administration Penalty Law of the People's Republic of China", the public security organs imposed a fine of 200 yuan on Yang.

At the same time, the Badaling Great Wall Scenic Area listed Yang as uncivilized tourism in the scenic area in accordance with the "Measures on Disciplinary Measures for the Destruction of Cultural Relics in the Badaling Great Wall Scenic Area" (referred to as the Punishment Measures) and the "Interim Measures for the Management of Uncivilized Behavior Records in Tourism at Badaling Great Wall Scenic Area" Behavior record.

Prior to this, the Beijing Park Management Center also imposed joint punishments on 7 tourists who had uncivilized behaviors. During the two-year publicity period, they were restricted from entering 11 parks belonging to Beijing.

According to the "Beijing Interim Measures for the Administration of Uncivilized Tourism Behavior Records", 7 uncivilized actors were also included in the "Beijing Tourism Uncivilized Behavior Records" and publicized on the Beijing Tourism Industry Credit Information Network and other websites.

In recent years, in order to effectively deter and stop uncivilized and illegal behaviors, and promote civilized tourism, Beijing has strengthened joint punishment and exposure of uncivilized actors in order to serve as a warning and education for tourists.

In April of this year, in response to illegal and uncivilized acts of destroying cultural relics, Yanqing District of Beijing revised and issued disciplinary measures in accordance with relevant national laws and regulations, so that the management of the Badaling Great Wall scenic spot has evidence to follow and laws to follow.

It stipulates that corresponding administrative penalties shall be imposed on 7 categories of cultural relics destruction, including engraving and deliberate damage, and uncivilized tourism behaviors that damage cultural relics and cause serious social impact shall be included in the record of uncivilized tourism behaviors, and uncivilized actors shall be restricted from buying tickets and visiting.

At the same time, it implements all-round grid management of scenic spots, and carries out cultural relic monitoring through civil air defense and technical defense to strengthen the protection of cultural relics.

"Scribing on the Great Wall itself will have an irreversible impact on cultural relics." The relevant person in charge of the Badaling Special Zone Office in Yanqing District of Beijing appealed to tourists that the Great Wall is an important symbol of the Chinese nation and we must pay attention to the protection and inheritance of history and culture. Take a civilized tour and jointly protect the precious cultural heritage of the Great Wall.
