Juliette Gréco also became friends with people from Paris' cultural life such as the writer and poet Boris Vian and the singer and composer Serge Gainsbourg.

During the 1950s and 1960s, Gréco also appeared in a number of French and international films, including "And the Sun Has its Way" (1957), "A Cloud in My Sky" (1957) and "Uncle Tom's Cottage" (1965).

In the years 1966–1977 she was married to the French actor Michel Piccoli.
