A few days ago, a reporter from Chinanews.com visited the Huzhu Tu Autonomous County in Haidong City, Qinghai Province. This is the only Tu Autonomous County in China with profound traditional cultural heritage. The traditional folk art, represented by the Tu nationality pan embroidery, adopts the unique stitching method of "two needles and two threads", which has high ornamental and collection value. In 2006, it was included in the first batch of national "intangible cultural heritage". Under the leadership of the older generation of Tu people’s pan embroidery artists such as Ma Baoqin, the development model of “company + base + farmer” and the carriers of the Tu people's pan embroidery, such as cooperatives, small groups, and small workshops, are becoming more mature. There are more than 5,000 mothers, annual processing of more than 100,000 pieces of pan embroidery, and sales income of 22 million yuan.
