17 new confirmed cases of new coronary pneumonia in 31 provinces are all imported cases

　　China News Service, August 19, according to the website of the National Health Commission, from 0-24 on August 18, 31 provinces (autonomous regions, municipalities) and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps reported 17 new confirmed cases, all imported from abroad Cases (8 in Shanghai, 4 in Guangdong, 2 in Zhejiang, 2 in Shaanxi, 1 in Shandong); no new deaths; no new suspected cases.

　　On the same day, 43 new cases were cured and discharged, and 2002 close contacts were released from medical observation. The number of severe cases decreased by 1 compared with the previous day.

　　There are 212 confirmed cases imported from abroad (no severe cases) and 2 suspected cases. A total of 2,339 confirmed cases, a total of 2,127 cured and discharged cases, and no deaths.

　　As of 24:00 on August 18, according to reports from 31 provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities) and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps, there are 569 confirmed cases (including 26 severe cases), 79,685 cured and discharged cases, and 4634 deaths. A total of 84,888 confirmed cases have been reported, and there are 2 suspected cases. A total of 808,005 close contacts have been traced, and 17,093 close contacts are still under medical observation.

　　31 provinces (autonomous regions, municipalities directly under the Central Government) and Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps reported 14 new asymptomatic infections (13 imported from abroad); 2 confirmed cases (all imported from abroad) on the same day; 23 medical observations were lifted on the same day ( 11 cases imported from abroad); 345 cases of asymptomatic infection are still under medical observation (221 cases imported from abroad).

　　A total of 5,092 confirmed cases have been notified from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan. Among them, there are 4560 cases in Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (3677 discharged from hospital, 71 deaths), 46 cases in Macau Special Administrative Region (46 discharged from hospital), and 486 cases in Taiwan (450 discharged from hospital, 7 deaths).
