There is a sector of the Spanish political spectrum, which ranges from the radical left to identity independence, which rejects the monarchy and rejects the 1978 Constitution. For that sector that seeks to replace the prevailing democratic system with an alternative one, the turmoil unleashed around the King Juan Carlos are the occasion to make their desired qualitative leap with a simple-looking postulate : the monarchy is a corrupt institution that must disappear and make way for an honor.
