  Huang Zhifeng, Lin Langyan, and Zhou Ting were all charged with one count of “inciting others to knowingly participate in an unauthorized assembly” on June 21 last year for inciting others to surround the police headquarters. Huang Zhifeng and Zhou Ting were also charged with one count of "knowingly participating in an unauthorized assembly". Huang Zhifeng was also charged with a crime of "organizing an assembly without approval."

  Zhou Ting pleaded guilty to two charges in July this year, while Huang Zhifeng and Lin Langyan pleaded not guilty.

  According to the facts of the case that Zhou Ting agreed in the court on the 5th, she had participated in the case and the other two used loudspeakers to appeal to surround the police headquarters and called slogans on the spot. The incident lasted about 15 hours and caused 7 police officers and 8 restaurant employees to be unwell, and they needed to call an ambulance to the scene.

  After hearing the facts of the case, Chief Magistrate Luo Quan ruled that Zhou Ting was guilty and decided to deal with his plea and sentence after the case was over.

  The prosecution stated in the court that the charges of Huang Zhifeng and Lin Langyan are expected to be tried for 6 days and a total of 17 witnesses will be called.
