Chinanews.com, August 1, according to Zhejiang University's official WeChat news, on July 31, Zhejiang University held a school affairs meeting to review the sanctions of 2016 undergraduate student Nu Moumou, and decided to expel Nu Moumou.

  On July 20, after the Nu XX incident aroused online attention, the school immediately set up a special working group to conduct investigations in accordance with laws and regulations, and conduct serious verification and evidence collection on letters and visits and online reports. It has been verified that Nu XX has a number of violations of discipline and regulations. Based on the newly verified facts, the School Student Reward and Punishment Committee proposed to give Nu Moumou a new punishment in accordance with relevant regulations and procedures. At the request of the person being punished, the school also carried out procedures such as hearings on adverse sanctions. At the hearing, the punished person had no objection to the violation of discipline. After careful deliberation by the school affairs meeting, in accordance with the "Measures for Dealing with Disciplinary Violations of Zhejiang University Students" (Zhejiang University Faben [2017] No. 119) Article 11 (2), Article 17, Paragraph 1 (3), Article Article 33, Item (3), Item 1 stipulates that Nu XX should be expelled from school.

  Zhejiang University stated that the next step will be to initiate the evaluation and revision procedures of the "Zhejiang University Student Violation Measures" and other internal regulations, strengthen system construction, improve school management, and provide a solid guarantee for better governance of the school by law.
