Miyagi Onagawa Nuclear Power Station Unit 2 Passes the national examination February 26 11:12
The Nuclear Regulation Authority has officially compiled a review of the Onagawa Nuclear Power Station Unit 2 in Miyagi Prefecture, where Tohoku Electric Power is aiming for restart, and has passed the prerequisite review. This is the first time that a nuclear power plant located in the Tohoku region, which was severely damaged by the Great East Japan Earthquake nine years ago, passed the examination.
