It is an unusual unrest for a month of February in Sarlat. But for the past few days, everyone has been talking about the same thing with this question in their mouths: Have you seen them? Who is that ? Ridley Scott, Ben Affleck and Matt Damon. Just that. The three stars have just landed in Dordogne for the shooting of the film The Last Duel .
Some have already crossed paths with them. Since Friday, they have been chaining the scenes in particular at the Beynac castle, completely closed to the public for the occasion. The film crew should then take possession of the Château de Fénelon in Sainte-Mondane and the bastide town of Monpazier, reports France Bleu Périgord. The town will notably be completely transformed for a medieval market scene.
They will be there until early March
The British director and his teams have also been seen several times in local restaurants. Residents and elected officials took the opportunity to take some selfies. Everyone should stay there until the beginning of March.

Ridley Scott's latest film is an adaptation of the French novel Le Dernier Duel: Paris, December 29, 1386 by Eric Jager. He recounts the deadly duel between a Norman knight returning from the war and one of his friends whom his wife accuses of rape.
