Enter "The Circle"

Released online for a few weeks on Netflix, The Circle is gaining more and more followers thanks to word of mouth. This American adaptation (available in French version and in subtitled version) of a British concept is a reality of confinement. Concretely, the candidates live in separate apartments without ever meeting. The only way to communicate with others is through a social network (The Circle) on which they can present themselves under their real identity or hide themselves under a false profile.

Regularly, participants must evaluate each other according to their affinities. At each turn, the two most popular are invited to decide which of their acolytes will be "blocked", that is to say eliminated from the game. Transvestites from every angle

Transformists from Madame Arthur to the young Parisian drag scene, from Zaza Napoli to Sarah Bernhardt, La folle histoire des travestis , broadcast ten days ago on France 5 and visible in replay, looks at cross-dressing in all its forms. By giving the floor to those concerned, as well as to specialists in history or cinema, the documentary explores many avenues. In a field which is a source of analysis and infinite reflection on gender, social roles, the gaze of society, emancipation, etc., difficult to be exhaustive, but the program has the merit of be educational. There may, however, be some reservations about the way in which the subject of transidentity is approached - it has very little to do with the question of cross-dressing.

But this young Quebecker did not wait for us to be followed by more than 390,000 subscribers who are passionate about her stories of more or less famous news. Her videos, in which she tells stories of abductions, murders or paranormal phenomena should appeal to amateurs and lovers of "true crimes".
