In 2017, author Lars Ohlson Bauer Media announced the third most popular podcast Mordpodden, which is run by Linnéa Bohlin and Amanda Karlsson. The reason was that the podium included information from his book Kakelugnmordet in the section Dentistry Murder. According to Lars Ohlson, the section was based on information unique to his book from 2016.

The murder pod removed the section after Lars Ohlson first contacted them. Lars Ohlson then went ahead and reported the police to the podium for violating the Copyright Act for literary and artistic works. The notification concerned plagiarism of 80 points. Something the Culture News previously reported on.

According to Lars Ohlson, the podduo reads paragraphs and sentences from his book, reports data and uses his analyzes. The allegations were disputed by the podduon's lawyer, who made the legal assessment that there was no crime. The assassin, however, admits that they have partially retrieved information from the book but mean that they have been careful to cite source.

In the fall, prosecution was brought and the case was brought up in Stockholm District Court. The trial began two weeks ago and on Friday came the verdict that the podium is being dropped for copyright infringement.
