In principle, in principle AI can learn copyrighted works without permission. If you use data from a website that has taken measures to prevent it from being used for learning purposes, it may be a copyright violation, and we ask that you use this as a reference when developing and using the data. The agency will report the ideas it has compiled to the Copyright Subcommittee meeting to be held in March.
