Vanessa Bryant, her husband, US global basketball star Kobe Bryant, and their 13-year-old daughter Gianna, mourned three days after their death, in a message posted to her Instagram account.
"There are not enough words to describe our pain at this time," Vanessa said, noting that this is her message on behalf of herself and her three daughters: Natalia, Bianca and Capri.
Bryant said, three days after the tragic accident, that the family is completely destroyed by the loss of their loved ones, and that they are also saddened by the families of the other seven people who died in the accident.
"I am not sure what our life would be today, and it is impossible to imagine life without them. My daughters and I would like to thank millions of people who have shown support and love during this difficult time."
"I feel relieved when I know that Kobe and Gigi knew they were very liked," she added.
Vanessa also announced the creation of a fund to support the families of the other seven victims who died in the accident.
The American basketball star, Kobe Bryant, was killed, along with his daughter and seven others, after a helicopter they were traveling in crashed in Calabasas, California.
