German dentist Jochen Schmidt said that back pain may sometimes be due to dental diseases because the jaw is linked to the spine through the muscles and nerves.

He explained that back pain may be due, for example, to the disease known as "TMJ," which may also lead to dental pain, neck, joints, tinnitus, headache and dizziness.

Back pain may also be due to gnashing of teeth, which in turn leads to muscle strain, and then back pain. So you should consult your dentist to check if dental diseases are the underlying cause of back pain.
