However, bags containing 25% or more of biomass plastic made from plant materials, bags made of plastic that decomposes into water or carbon dioxide in the sea, and repeated use with a thickness of 0.05 mm or more. Bags that can be removed will be excluded from the requirement.

In addition, at the previous review meetings, there was a request from industry groups such as convenience stores that you would like to exclude warm lunch boxes and soup from home, but this is not to be excluded .
The country originally aimed at implementation from April of next year, but several industry groups said that a sufficient preparation period was necessary one after another, and the start of paying was scheduled for July 1 next year.
The government will revise the ministerial ordinance of the “Container and Packaging Recycling Law” at the end of next month after hearing the opinions of the public widely.
