Karl Ove Knausgård stops Netflix movie

Norwegian author Karl Ove Knausgård and Netflix do not agree, and the author now stops the streaming giant's planned filmization of his article series "My saga", previously published in the New York Times.

According to Norwegian NRK, Knausgård was dissatisfied with the script, which is also confirmed by the scriptwriter himself.

- There will be nothing. I respect that, says screenwriter Erlend Loe to NRK.

The film recordings would have started in Norway, Sweden and the US during the fall, with Oscar-winning director Alexander Payne at the helm and starring Mads Mikkelsen.
